إنَّ المخطوطات تراث الأمم وإرثها الحضاريّ والدينيّ والثقافيّ والتاريخيّ الذي يميِّز أمَّة وبلد ما من غيره، حتَّى لنرى أنَّ الدول التي لا تمتلك من هذا الإرث تسعى لشرائها واقتنائها بأثمان عالية جدًّا.
ومن هذا الإرث ما حظي به العراق عمومًا والحِلَّة خصوصًا من إرث عائم بسبب الأسرة العلميَّة والادبيَّة التي مصَّرتها نهاية القرن الخامس الهجريّ (495هـ)،
وما بلورته من وعي تأليفيّ وتصنيفيّ في كلِّ صنوف المعرفة، وهو ما أسهم فيما بعد بنشأة الحوزة العلميَّة لما ينيف عن ثلاثة قرون أو يزيد، وهذا أسهم بأن يكون للعلماء والفقهاء مؤلَّفات وتصانيف أثروا بها المكتبة الإسلاميَّة.
ونحن نتتبَّع ببلوغرافيًّا تلك التصانيف في مكانٍ محدِّدٍ هو الخزانة الغرويَّة لإرث مدينة محدَّدة هي الحِلَّة.

Manuscripts are the heritage of nations and their civilizational, religious, cultural and historical legacies that distinguish a nation and country from others, so that we see some countries which do not possess this heritage seek to buy and acquire them at very high prices. And from this legacy, the enormous legacy enjoyed by Iraq in general and Hilla in particular due to the scientific and literary family that established the city at the end of the fifth century AH (495 AH), and what it crystallized from compositional and taxonomic awareness in all types of knowledge, This led later to the emergence of the scientific Hawza for more than three centuries or more, and for scholars and jurists to have books and classifications that enriched the Islamic library.We trace, bibliographically, these classifications in a specific place, which is Al-ghrwya library, and to the legacy of a specific city, which is Hillah
