اهتمَّ البحث بدراسة تقنيات الإيقاع الناجم بوساطة تكرار الأصوات، ودراسة كلُّ ما من شأنه أن يُحدِث نغمًا في الأذن، وأثرًا في النفس، أو يلفت إليه الفكر، كتكرار الصوت والتجنيس بعدِّهما أهم العناصر الصائتة التي كان لها وجود مميَّز في قصيدة ابن العرندس الحِلِّيّ (أضحـــى يميـــس كغـــصن بان في حلى)، والتي تمثِّل الإفادة الواضحة لابن العرندس من جرس الألفاظ وتناغم العبارات، ما يدلُّ على مهارته في نسج الكلمات وترتيبها وتنسيقها، بحيث يصبح البيت الشعريّ أو الجملة من الكلام أشبه بفاصلة موسيقيَّة متعدِّدة النَّغم، مختلفة الألوان، يستمتع بها من له دراية بهذا الفن، ويرى فيها دليل المهارة والقدرة الفنيَّة، ليفتح لنا هذا البحث بابًا من أبواب دراسة هذا الشاعر الذي أشاد بشعره كثير من النقَّاد، ودرسه كثير من الباحثين.
